Recommended use:
As a general purpose primer on steel that has been cleaned thoroughly. Excellent in mildly to moderately corrosive atmospheres, interior and exterior, including coastal and marine environments. Not suitable for permanent immersion service.

Main characteristics:
Very good adhesion on grit blast steel or steel that has been thoroughly cleaned of rust. Easy to apply with brush, roller or air-spray. Good fluidity.

Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations.

New steel: abrasive blasting to Sa 2, followed by compatible shopprimer ( KPC 5205 EP ) for preliminary protection, if necessary. Alternatively, power tool cleaning to St 3. All damage of shopprimer and contamination from storage and fabrication should be thoroughly cleaned prior to final coating.
