KPC 3010 CR Finish HB is a high build physically drying paint based on a modified chlorinated medium. Has good gloss and colour retention, good resistance to abrasion, sea-water, sunlight, mineral oil, diluted acids and alkali’s. Not resistant to strong solvents.
Recommended use:
As a general purpose exterior finishing coat on not permanently immersed surfaces in marine and industrial environments. For use on ship-decks see the KPC 3020 CR Finish HB. Also to be used on interior steel surfaces where chemical and moisture resistance is required, e.g. cargo holds etc.
Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations. When used on top of a freshly applied prime- coat, removal of sand and dust is adequate. If rust is present it should be preferably removed by blast cleaning, followed by spot priming with an anticorrosive primer. Preceding coating: KPC 3521 CR Sealer or KPC 3210 CR Primer HB.
