KPC 3020 CR Finish HB is an air-drying paint based on a chlorinated medium for use on ships’ weather decks.. It is resistant to abrasion and spillage, and offers excellent protection against sea-water and severe climatic conditions.
Recommended use:
As a finishing coating on decks and floors etc.
Main characteristics:
Fast drying. Excellent durability outdoors and outstanding colour-retention. Easy to apply at low temperatures.
Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations. When used on top of a freshly applied prime- coat, removal of sand and dust is adequate. If rust is present it should be preferably removed by blast cleaning, followed by spot priming with an anticorrosive primer. Preceding coating: KPC 3521 CR Sealer or KPC 3210 CR Primer HB.
