KPC 3210 CR Primer HB is a chlorinated rubber based high-build coating. Physically drying. Resistant to salt water, but not to animal and vegetable oils or strong solvents. Temperature-resistance for continuous service up to 60°C, non-continuous 80°C.
Recommended use:
As an intermediate coat in chlorinated-rubber systems on exterior and interior steelwork in moderately to severely corrosive environment, including marine atmosphere and industrial environment. Also usable as an intermediate coat or primer for use on repair vessels.
Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations. When used on top of a freshly applied prime- coat, removal of sand and dust is adequate. If rust is present it should be preferably removed by blast cleaning, followed by spot priming with an anticorrosive primer. Preceding coating: KPC 3521 CR Sealer or KPC 3210 CR Primer HB.
