Recommended use:
As an effective and durable cathodic protector of steel constructions like containers, cranes, fork-lift trucks, trucks and bodyworks in industrial and maritime environments.

Main characteristics:
Fast drying. Application possible at temperatures till -10°C. Good anti-corrosive abilities. Easy to apply on vertical surfaces. Dependent on temperatures and conveyer-speed, the viscosity can be determined, to bring about the desired film thickness. A homogeneous flat grey layer can be obtained.

Surface preparation:
New steel: abrasive blasting to Sa 2.5, with a surfaceroughness of approximately 50µm. The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations.
In case of repair: All transport and mechanical damages, as well as weld or burned spots should be blasted with a fine, non-metallic, dry blastingmaterial with reduced pressure. The substrate should be cleaned of grease. In case blasting is not possible, the substrate should be cleaned with a powertool. The surface has to be completely dry.
