Recommended use:
As a chemicalresistant and mechanical durable finish of inside floors.

Main characteristics:
Chemicalresistant and mechanical durability. Easy to clean. Easy to apply by brush or roller. Floor- and processing temperature should be a 10°C minimum.

Surface preparation:
Concrete and cement floors should be four to six weeks old before treating them with KPC 5409 EP-floorcoating. Concrete and cement floors can be tested on humidity by sticking some airtight plastic foil on several squared metres. After 24 hours the plastic foil as well as the floor beneath it should still be dry. If this is the case, the floor is ready to be treated. Humidity can have a negative effect on the adhesion of the coating. The surface should be clean, dry and intact. Really dirty spots can be washed with some kind of thinner. Floors that have been coated before grated, and tested on adhesion. New and untreated concrete and cement floors should be treated with one layer KPC 5091 Epoxy Impregnator, this to benefit the adhesion and prevent absorption. After this first layer, two layers of KPC EP-floorcoating can be applicated.
