Recommended use:
As a general purpose primer on well cleaned steel surface in mildly to moderately corrosive atmosphere, interior and exterior, including coastal and marine environments. Not suitable for permanent immersion service. Not recommended in association with impressed current cathodic protection.


Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations.

New steel: abrasive blasting to Sa 2, followed by compatible shopprimer ( KPC 85205 ) for preliminary protection, if necessary. Alternatively, power tool cleaning to St 3. All damage of shopprimer and contamination from storage and fabrication should be thoroughly cleaned prior to final coating.
