KPC 83020 CR Finish BT is a quick drying paint based on chlorinated binder for use on ships’ weather decks and boottops. It is resistant to abrasion and spillage, and offers excellent protection against sea-water and weather under all climatic conditions.
Recommended use:
As a finishing coat or non-slip coating on the boottop and on decks and floors etc.
Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations. When used on top of a freshly applied prime- coat, removal of sand and dust is adequate. If rust is present it should be preferably removed by blast cleaning, followed by spot priming with an anticorrosive primer. Preceding coating: KPC 83521 CR Sealer or KPC 83210 CR Primer HB.
