Recommended use:
As a high build mid- or finishing coat on interior and exterior of structural steel in corrosive marine and industrial environments. Protective coating for exposed parts against mechanical wear and seawater/fresh water splash. For example as a midcoat over the KPC 5508 EP and under the KPC 6000 series. For coating of non-ferrous metal, concrete, asbestos cement, polyester and similar materials with suitable primer.

Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations. When used on top of a freshly applied prime- coat, removal of sand and dust is adequate. If rust is present it should be preferably removed by blast cleaning, followed by spot priming with an anticorrosive primer. Subsequent coat: KPC 5131 EP Epoxy Primer HB or the KPC 5205 EP Epoxy Shopprimer.
