Recommended use:
As a high build anti-corrosion primer for non-immersed steel structures of vessels and other project which are subject to expose moderate and severe atmospheres such as coastal and marine environments.

Main characteristics:
Easy to process by brush. Excellent anti-corrosive properties. Very good adhesion on grit blast steel or steel that has been thoroughly cleaned of rust.

Surface preparation:
The substrate should be completely dry and free from oil, grease or other contaminations.

New steel: abrasive blasting to Sa 2, followed by compatible shopprimer (KPC 5205 EP) for preliminary protection, if necessary. Alternatively, power tool cleaning to St 3. All damage of shopprimer and contamination from storage and fabrication should be thoroughly cleaned prior to final coating.
